We were pleased to welcome members of the Volvo Penta management team to the Windy shipyard in Sweden. The visit provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, review ongoing projects, and explore new ways to further strengthen the long-standing collaboration between our two companies.
Together, we continue to focus on delivering innovation, reliability, and exceptional experiences on the water for Windy owners around the world.
Another Windy SR40 has successfully completed its final pre-delivery inspection and is now being prepared for shipment south. Following extensive testing and quality checks by our team and the owner’s representatives, she is ready to begin the next stage of her journey and soon take to the water with her new owners.
Another Windy SR60 has now left our headquarters in Sweden and is on its way south, ready for her first season at sea.
At the same time, a Windy 34 Alizé and a Windy 29 Huracán are heading west towards Norway, just in time for the Scandinavian summer. Another proud moment for the team as new Windy owners prepare to take delivery of their boats.
Our Norwegian dealer Båthuset exhibited at Arendal Båtmesse 2026, held by the beautiful seaside in the city centre of Arendal — the very city where Windy was founded in 1966.
On display were the sporty Windy 29 Huracán and the versatile Windy SR28 CC, giving visitors the opportunity to experience Scandinavian performance, craftsmanship, and design up close.
On Saturday, May 23, Windy will take part in Pampas Dagen at Pampas Marina, located just next to our headquarters. Celebrating Sweden’s national boating day, the event brings together boating enthusiasts for a day filled with activities on and by the water.
On display will be the Windy SR28 CC and Windy 27 Solano, both presented in our exclusive 60th Anniversary package. The event is open from 11am to 4pm, and the Windy team looks forward to welcoming visitors to step aboard and experience the boats up close.
Another Windy SR40 has successfully completed its final pre-delivery inspection together with the EOI team. Following thorough testing and fine-tuning, the vessel is now prepared to head out for a season of confident performance, comfort, and memorable days at sea.
From May 29 – 31, Windy will be present at the Beaulieu Boat Show as our new French representative, Olympic Marine, in this unique Mediterranean setting.

The Windy team recently visited Volvo Penta at their test center in Krossholmen for an in-depth clinic focused on the latest innovations in marine technology.

Windy is pleased to announce that, at the Palma Boat Show, a new representation agreement has been signed with long-term partner Nautic Luis, covering both Spain and the Balearic Islands.
The agreement marks a special moment, signed during the 50th anniversary of Nautic Luis and the 60th anniversary of Windy Scandinavia AB—celebrating decades of shared commitment to quality and performance on the water.
As part of the agreement, Nautic Luis will also showcase Windy Yacht Tender Chase Boat models and sales material at their Puerto Portals office, further strengthening the presence of Windy within the superyacht community and engaging with the many captains based on the island.
Windy Scandinavia AB has appointed Olympic Marine as a new additional representative in France, strengthening support for new sales along the French coast west of Villefranche-sur-Mer and further north.
Led by the highly regarded marine sales professional Pierre de Cancellis, Olympic Marine brings extensive experience and strong connections within the luxury boating and superyacht sector. The sales and technical management office is based in Toulon, with plans to expand to St Tropez in 2027.
“We are excited to take on this challenge with Windy and continue building strong partnerships in the superyacht world,” says Pierre de Cancellis.

Windy Scandinavia AB has signed an agreement appointing Haines Yacht Sales as its official dealer in Australia.
Haines Yacht Sales was officially launched this weekend during the 2026 WPGA Championship and Festival of Golf at Sanctuary Cove. The company is led by highly regarded marine sales professional Greg Haines, who brings extensive experience and a long-established background in the luxury boating industry.

Only a few more deliveries to go before the summer holidays. This time a Windy 29 Huracán is on the way to its new owner in the south of Norway.
Work on our new factory building is progressing according to plan. Electrical and plumbing installations are proceeding. All concrete floors have been ground and polished, giving the interior a finished look. Externally, the building is also taking shape in all details, and the overall appearance is nearing completion.

All the way from Arendal, Norway – where the Windy factory was located until 2014 – four proud owners of Windy classics arrived today via the Baltic Sea. Two Windy 42 Grand Boras and two Windy 37 Grand Mistrals lined up at our dock for a visit and a factory tour.
As the summer holidays approach, Windy is keeping pace with demand, sending out another round of vessels from the yard. This latest batch includes a Windy SR60, a SR40, the 27 Solano, and the 37 Shamal – all heading out to new adventures on the water.
Our first Windy SR40 equipped with triple Mercury V10-400s is now complete and ready for delivery to one happy customer. Final inspections and test runs took place under beautiful sunshine in the Swedish archipelago.
With the windows and doors now in place, all focus is on the inside of our new factory building. The main production hall is almost complete, and the focus is now on the office space, changing rooms, toilets and canteen which are starting to take shape.

This week we made a photo shoot in the Mediterranean Sea with our new SR40s in beautiful weather and amazing environments.
As all the major exterior parts of the building are done the all focus is now on the inside. Concrete floors are laid, plumbing prepared, and main focus is now all the electricity and ventilation. As the yard is now growing fast we have also invested in our own water supply tank for the emergency sprinkler system.
A brand new Windy 40 Camira RS is wrapped up and loaded on truck for delivery to Finland.

Things are moving fast at the new Windy factory site! With just a few final touches left on the exterior, all eyes are now turning to the inside, where the transformation is picking up speed. The concrete floors are nearly finished, setting the stage for busy weeks ahead. Very soon, the space will be buzzing with electricians, carpenters, and plumbers as they bring the interior to life.

We had another fantastic visit this week at the Windy headquarters, welcoming our French dealer and his valued customer for an exciting milestone – the pre-delivery inspection of one of our first SR40s with every detail carefully checked and tested to ensure the boat is in perfect condition before it leaves our hands.
The highlight of the day was the test runs in beautiful sunshine, which set the perfect backdrop for showcasing the SR40’s capabilities. The customer was beyond impressed, providing excellent feedback that truly energized the team. This week Windy dealer Skyboat is exhibiting at Nauticampo, Lisbon International Fair in Portugal. Boats on display are the W29 Huracán, the W27 Solano and the SR28 CC. The show is on from the 26th to the 30th of March. Very welcome to visit Grzegorz and his team!
The spring started for real this week in Sweden, and it has been an exiting week full of sea trials and testing in beautiful sunshine and warmer temperatures. Our production is running at full capacity to get all the boats ready for deliveries before the summer.
Our sales team are present in Florida at the Palm Beach international Boat Show over the weekend meeting clients and discussing deliveries.
Despite the challenging weather that often includes strong winds and snow, the construction project is progressing on schedule. The exterior walls and roof of the production hall have been successfully installed, which is a significant milestone, the overhead traversers are already in place. The foundational framework for the lower section of the building, which will accommodate the warehouse, office spaces, and additional areas, has also been erected.

This week, we had an exciting and inspiring event that marked the official start of our new brand strategy project. The workshop, held at the Windy HQ, brought together a dynamic group of creative minds to brainstorm and lay the foundation for the future direction of the Windy brand.
During the workshop, we explored both big and small questions, delving deep into the core identity of Windy. We discussed everything from the origins of the brand and how it has evolved over time, to where it stands today, and most importantly, where it’s heading in the future. The session was filled with diverse perspectives, with team members contributing their thoughts on what makes Windy unique and how we can best capture the essence of our brand as we move forward.
The workshop also featured thought-provoking conversations around the visual identity of Windy – from our logo and color palette to typography and imagery. The goal of these discussions is to refine and enhance our brand’s visual appearance, ensuring that it accurately reflects our values and vision for the future.
As we move into the next stages of this exciting project, there’s a palpable sense of anticipation and enthusiasm within the team. It’s clear that we are not only looking at a visual transformation but also redefining what Windy stands for and how we connect with our audience moving forward.

There are busy times in the production at Windy head Quarters, as the winter is slowly fading away and spring is around the corner in Sweden. Today we have no less than 6 large bespoke Yacht Tenders in production at the same time, each vessel heavily customized to client specification.
The new SR40 Production Line is now filling up, with the first two SR40’s in the final stages of testing, prior to their world premiere at the Palma International Boat Show at the end of April.
Several Windy Classic Sports Cruisers will be finished before the summer and put into the water in beautiful locations around the world to fulfill the dreams of some happy customers of ours.

The Windy SR60 with a fully enclosed helm offers enhanced comfort for both crew and guests, regardless of the weather. The construction of the new Production Hall on Sweden’s picturesque East Coast is now rapidly gaining momentum. Just today, we saw the steel framework starting to go up. This new facility is a game-changer, with an additional 2300 square meters of production space we will be able to almost double our production and importantly build more advanced and larger vessels.
This growth also means we’re expanding our team! We’ll be hiring approximately 50 new employees, welcoming fresh talent and enthusiasm to the Windy family. It’s an exciting time for anyone looking to join a forward-thinking and passionate team.
Set in a breathtaking location on the Baltic coastline, this new part of the factory will be a stunning environment for both the team and our customers. The entire facility is expected to be completed by Q4 2025. We can’t wait to see where this expansion takes us – there’s so much to look forward to!

Based on their location in Port Hercule, with over twenty-five years’ experience in designing some of the world’s finest superyachts as well as the last years new WINDY Sport Cruisers, Espen Øino Sales is the ideal partner to represent WINDY in Monaco with our ever-expanding bespoke range of SR Sports Boats.
The latest addition to the WINDY family by Espen Øino, the SR38, is now in the final stage of production at the facilities in Sweden.
We are super excited to increase our collaboration with Espen and his team, who will further expand our business in Monaco and the surrounding vicinity, comments Trevor Fenlon CEO Windy Scandinavia.
Already EOS has sold four of the new SR38 model to Monaco Clients. The SR38 first unveiling will be at the Palma International Boat Show at Marina Moll Vell in the end of April.

WINDY Scandinavia yacht tender business continues to grow with the launch of the SR60 waterjet.
The first vessel was completed during this autumn, and is now in operation. Powered by 3x Cummins 6,7L diesels together with Hamilton Jet HJX series and Twin Disc gearbox in-between. With this set-up WINDY has added another dimension to the already strong SR60 concept and also strengthened their position of being world-leading in bespoke boatbuilding.

WINDY release renders of the stunning next development of the award winning SR60, built in the main production facility in Sweden. New models in build incorporate the options of huge 20ft balcony doors and enclosed helm with sliding doors.

WINDY SR60 is a powerful 60ft Chaseboat with a strong personality and clear dual purpose. With a range of over 800 nautical miles at 25 knots, the SR60 has been designed to be the ultimate superyacht Chaseboat for long distance excursions. At FLIBS 2023 last week Espen Øino presented renderings of the upcoming brand-new Windy model SR38. The SR38 will be launched at FLIBS 2024 and will serve as the third model in our SR Sports Boat Line.
The exterior design of the Windy SR38 reflects its purpose as a go anywhere fast and safe multipurpose family sports boat with emphasis on the practical aspects of boating.
The generous stern platform combined with the folding bulwarks and the central sun pad is the perfect spot to hang out when at anchor. Sun protection can be arranged with optional awnings. In the open position the doors disappear creating the feeling of a very open boat. This feeling is further enhanced when the sliding roof is open. In addition, stand-up paddle boards, fliteboards, fishing rods and bicycles can be arranged on the roof racks just like on your SUV car underlining the versatile nature of the design of SR38.

WINDY also continue our collaboration with Design Unlimited who have designed the new Sports Series interiors debuting first with the new Camira and now with the new HURACÁN.
Her debut will be at the Boot Düsseldorf boat show 2024.

Nacka Strand Water Front Days was held in Stockholm during previous Friday to Sunday. During this event Windy had models SR28 CC and W34 Alizé on display.
Swiss Windy Dealer Hochmuth Bootsbau AG had no less than 8 brand new Windy Boats on display at this fantastic event that took place in Stansstad, Switzerland previous weekend.

Windy entertained 15 Dealers in Västervik, Sweden reviewing two new soon to come Boat model launches.

Spring is coming and boating season has started…
Johannes started his career in the UK in Plymouth finally studying his Masters in Yacht Design in Italy at the Politecnico di Milano.
He has worked in various Design Engineering positions at both Azimut, and Fairline and since 2019 at the Main WINDY Shipyard & Headquarters in Västervik Sweden. In Johannes new role he will work closely with our International Dealers as WINDY continue its expansion outside of Europe. Johannes will also coordinate with the Major Show Organisers for the Main WINDY Boat Exhibitions in Stockholm, Cannes, Fort Lauderdale and Düsseldorf.

Aaby Marine had no less then 4 different Windy models on display during Storbåtmessen. The Aaby Marine Team reports about good attendance and huge interest for all boats displayed.
Nautic Norway displaying a brand new WINDY 27 Solano RS at an exclusive Porsche event in Norway. Taking place in the middle of a frozen lake up in the Norwegian mountains near Geilo.
Come see us at Allt För Sjön 2023 in Stockholm, Sweden. The show is taking place from 9th-12th of March and 16th-19th of March.

The Finish WINDY dealer MP Yachts reports very good interest amongst visitors during the ongoing boat show (taking place from 10th to 19th of February).
Since January 1st 2023, Bruno Kairet has joined Merveille Nautic as Sales Director.
By joining Merveille Nautic, Bruno’s mission is to contribute to the development of Merveille Nautic which, since September 1st, is the new exclusive distributor and importer of Windy boats in France and Monaco.
As such, Bruno will continue the privileged relationships he has created with Windy’s customers and build new ones.

Scandinavian luxury boat manufacturer, Windy Scandinavia AB, is pleased to announce Skyboat as their new Portuguese Dealer – headquartered in Vilamoura, Portugal.
Skyboat was originally founded in Gdynia, Poland year 1995 by Grzegorz Skałbania, and have since 2012 until now served as the exclusive WINDY Dealer in Poland. With the recent expansion into the Portuguese boating market – Skyboat will from now also be the exclusive WINDY Dealer in Portugal, with sales office and full-service offerings.
